We are seeking an AI Developer for Fidelity Coding Solution to work with our client. In this role, you will create a solution that processes video recordings and/or cleaned transcripts to detect deviations from lesson plans, measure adherence to instructional protocols, and flag key segments for in-depth human evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Data Input and Preprocessing: Handle raw video inputs and cleaned transcripts (with personal identifiers removed), performing or integrating transcription where needed.
- Duration Analysis: Develop functionality to extract or use timestamps to calculate the time spent on each activity, comparing these durations to the lesson schedule.
- Activity Completion Verification: Implement a mechanism to cross-reference transcript or video data with lesson plans, ensuring prescribed activities occur in the correct order.
- Instructional Completeness Assessment: Detect the presence of essential letters, sounds, or vocabulary specified in the lesson plan.
- Sentiment Analysis: Build or integrate a module to detect teacher praise and evaluate the overall emotional valence of the session.
- Adherence to Lesson Script: Design logic to highlight deviations from the scripted lesson plan by mapping transcripts or videos to specific steps.
- Child Engagement Metrics: Implement conversation-based indicators (e.g., word counts) to measure child participation.
- Testing and Refinement: Validate all functionalities using representative videos and transcripts, iterating as needed to improve accuracy and performance.
- Documentation and Delivery: Provide clear documentation on data processing requirements, code structure, and usage instructions, as well as test results showcasing performance. Deliver the finalized code, ensuring it can be run and maintained by others in the future.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least a master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, data science, or a closely related discipline).
- Practical experience with machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.
- Proven experience working with AI libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and a portfolio or record of successfully completed projects.
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, with experience applying natural language processing or computer vision techniques to educational contexts or similar domains.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used for AI development (e.g., Python).
- Familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, etc.).
- Ability to process and integrate audio/video data, including transcription and timestamp extraction.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and anonymization practices.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to ensure deliverables can be used and understood by non-technical stakeholders.
