Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work with our client. In this role, you will provide remote patient care support, assisting with patient access, reducing backlog, and coordinating infusion-related services. This role focuses on patient assessments, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure seamless infusion care and adherence to medical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient access by reviewing and addressing backlogged cases.
• Coordinate and respond to infusion-related inquiries and appointment scheduling.
• Review upcoming infusion schedules to ensure patient consent and order approvals are complete.
• Identify patterns in infusion scheduling to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Manage verbal orders for critical lab results and approve infusions outside standard parameters.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical teams to support patient care decisions.
• Document progress notes and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care, including referral coordination and scheduling follow-ups.
• Participate in virtual department meetings and case discussions to optimize patient care workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Texas.
• Master s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in infusion therapy or oncology preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with medical teams.
