Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant II to support our client. In this role, you will assist with research design, data analysis, regulatory compliance, and scientific writing under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI).

Key Responsibilities:

Research Projects
  • Assist the PI with scientific research focused on hematopathology and image analysis.
  • Read and analyze scientific literature to propose or modify research methods.
  • Support the design and initiation of research projects.
  • Assist in research activities and provide training to research personnel.
  • Submit project results to the PI in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional clinical research-related duties as assigned.

Compliance & Regulatory Coordination
  • Maintain all regulatory documentation for research projects.
  • Assist in responding to compliance-related queries.
  • Support yearly lab safety inspections.

Publications & Scientific Communication
  • Draft abstracts, manuscripts, reports, and scientific correspondence under the PI's direction.
  • Edit and write sections of protocols, grants, and reports.
  • Summarize literature findings and prepare presentations for scientific meetings.
  • Review manuscripts prior to submission.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a basic science field.
  • Master's degree in a basic science field, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in R and statistical analysis, experience in data analysis and visualization, and demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets, preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., graphs, charts).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a research team.
